Learn the basic Control Defense Tactics, from understanding the principle of a power or a fighting stance, feet movement, escorting an individual, into the placement of control for handcuffing. Then to control and takedowns into the handcuffing from the prone position. Also learn the basics in blocks and strikes.
Receive a NLETC Certification when you complete this course.
This course is the updated system of Control Defense Tactics focusing on the jiu-jitsu-based system. That will incorporate escort positions, control locks, arm and shoulder locks, body lock takedowns and control locks to the ground. Then how to control the subject into the handcuffing procedure from the ground. This course will also cover what is called Team Tactics Control to the ground.

Most all fights end up on the ground. This is the first level of the combative course. We will start at the very basic in this level 1 course. Learning how to perform locks and controls once you end up on the ground and taking control of the situation. Learn different positions that you may end up in while on the ground. Its a dangerous position to be in once you take a offender to the ground and they start to fight and resist leaving you vulnerable or being taken to the ground. This is a very intense hand to hand course.

This is level II of the combative course. This will lead off where Level I ended. Incorporating confined spaces and more advanced techniques from the ground and confined areas, such as Vehicles, Elevators, Office Spaces, Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Hospitals, Cells, Buses, Airplanes and Stairwells. Think of the most smallest room somewhere and having to fight and take an Offender into custody that's not willing to go.

Learn about bleeding control, tourniquets, lifesaving interventions. This is geared to give you a level up when it comes to vehicle accidents, at home or even workplace violence or injuries. This class is taught by a former Combat Medic and works in the fastest pace Trauma Center in the Metro Area as an RN. Each student receives a tourniquet for free and can purchase a small IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit) or a Trauma Kit for a discounted price.

You will be working through the stress inoculation and utilizing your skills in a force-on-force encounter with actors, who work in the field and deal with these type of situations on a daily basis.
After each scenario, you will have a debrief on the scenario. Where you will get direct feedback from the evaluators and the actors in each scenario. These scenarios will also be recorded to use during briefings and continuing education.
This course will cover the basic concepts of working with a flashlight along with a weapon mounted light. This course will cover the different type of flashlights and techniques on how to utilize them properly with your firearm. The legal aspects needed to identify a threat or not before shooting. But also, the techniques used to search, use cover properly with a light and how to move/search with a light, aka paint the walls. 200 rounds of pistol ammunition needed along with eye and ear pro.

This course will cover the fundamentals of marksmanship and the handgun handling, that includes the 4-step draw, different type of reloading and malfunction drills, shooting fast but accurate shooting drills, close quarter shooting, defensive shooting, combat follow through, multiple targets, shooting while moving. You will need your handgun, preferably outside of the waistband holster and 500 rounds of ammunition at a minimum and eyes and ear protection.

This course starts off where Level I ended. This will cover the topic of Cover and Concealment, room clearing, team tactics, shooting on the move, multiple different shooting positions, Strong hand and support hand shooting.
Must have Defensive Handgun Level I as a prerequisite or a class similar to with approval from the instructor. 800 rounds of ammunition needed at a minimum a with a strong side outside of the waistband holster with some form of retention, along with eyes and ear protection.
Receive a Certification through the NRA Law Enforcement Division once you complete this course and pass the Qualification.
In this course, you will cover the basic concepts and tactics with the shotgun: Will cover the different type of ammunition, how to switch ammunition on the fly. Drills include firing from cover, use of kneeling and prone positions, moving targets, malfunction clearing, firing on the move, and transitioning to the handgun.
Requirements: Duty-type 12-Ga. pump or semi-auto shotgun equipped with sling.
50 rounds of slugs. 20 rounds of 00 Buck, 100 rounds of Birdshot #6, #7 or #8. and 100 rounds of pistol
Receive a Certification through the NRA Law Enforcement Division once you complete this course and pass the Qualification.
This course will cover the basic concepts of Patrol Rifle or Patrol Carbine. This course will cover the fundamentals of a patrol rifle, marksmanship and handling from malfunctions, reloads, utilizing multiple different positions, along with zeroing your patrol rifle. 800 rounds of rifle ammunition and 100 rounds of pistol needed at a minimum, along with eye and ear protection.
Receive a Certification through the NRA Law Enforcement Division once you complete this course and pass the Qualification.
All courses will either receive a Double Tap Tactics Certification, NRA Law Enforcement Division, or through the National Law Enforcement Training Center if you are a certified Law Enforcement agency or approved security company. Any other special courses will receive specific certifications. For all Law Enforcement Agencies, Security Companies, Corporate Security Firms, Hospitals, Schools and Church Security organizations.
