Brenton Musgrove

Brenton Musgrove comes with over 15 years in the Law Enforcement, Public Safety and Security field.  He started in the Fire EMS Service in the metropolitan area.. Then graduated the Police Academy in 2004.  Where he began his career working in the Department of Public Housing.  He then furthered his career gaining many Instructor Certifications from the NRA Law Enforcement Division in Pistol, Shotgun and Patrol Rifle, Active Shooter Officer Response from the Sig Sauer Academy  Then received instructor certifications in defensive tactics from PPCT, NLETC, and Jiu-Jitsu based systems.  He also teaches tactics, Officer Survival Tactics, Patrol Tactics and Low-Light..  Brenton Musgrove also teaches verbal de-escalation and situational awareness. Brenton Musgrove has then worked in the corporate security setting, where he then coordinated training and tactics for the security firms.  Along with training and setting up active shooter procedure, protocols and tactics. Brenton Musgrove then expanded his training and passion with verbal de-escalation in the health systems.  Where he has taught tactics and de-escalation to the security departments in multiple different hospitals, especially in the Emergency Departments.  

 Brenton Musgrove is currently working as a Sergeant in the Public Safety Department in the busiest Level 1 Trauma Center in Kansas City.  He takes pride in de-escalating potential hostile people, including patients, visitors, inmates with a peaceful resolution.  

Brenton Musgrove's passion is instilling knowledge and confidence into others and loves teaching verbal de-escalation and tactics to other agencies, security staff and nurses, especially in situations where emotions and tension can be very high.
